As spring is ending, many designers are beginning to transition out of the spring season. However, Pantone Color Institute , focuses on colors, released spring colors meant to be a trend for that season. Each color was a different shade of the primary colors. Below are four colors !
The first color is named Niagra and it's a shade of blue. Many designers used this shade of blue for their collection such as Max Mara,Gucci & etc. The google meaning of Niagra is torrent or flood so you can see the resemblance . This color matches the stereotypical color of a river or denim ! It's a medium blue rather than light or dark blue. As Pantone states,"Niagara is a classic denim-like blue that speaks to our desire for ease and relaxation." It's meant to be calm color within the palette.
Next up is Primrose Yellow ! Yellow is a very popular color within spring and it's usually seen as a pastel color, but here it's seen as a dark pastel. even though these two words contrast each other, imagine a pastel that is simply under shade. Primrose is actually a European flower cultivated there. It's a very beautiful flower found all year long ! As Pantone states,"Inviting us into its instant warmth, this joyful yellow shade takes us to a destination marked by enthusiasm, good cheer and sunny days." The yellow is meant to bring joy.
What do you think of when I say Island paradise? I automatically think of the hit movie Moana. Clear waters, light blue skies. The sea creatures swimming along while staring a green scenery. Well, Pantone managed to enrapture this within one color ! This color is names Island Paradise ! Island Paradies is the embodiment of paradise !
Green. The automatic idea of green is military or plants! The color below is named greenery. It's a mixture between pastel & primary color green. Greenery means growing plants or vegetation, with this meaning you can have an idea of what it means. Greens are growing everywhere ! Be Bold ! Take upon the revolt of saving the greens !
