As I was roaming the internet I stumbled upon this stunning website named Makeup Geek. Makeup Geek is running by Marlena a makeup "educator" that focuses on any type of makeup! Her goal is to create an environment where makeup is seen as an art, not a mask that humans put on. As said by her,"My goal in life is to help even just one person feel more beautiful – if that means the use of makeup, then I’m ok with that. Makeup for me is a way to enhance my natural beauty – it isn’t a mask or a way to hide, but more like a way to shine." She currently has a BS in Drama/Speech and Music Education but plans on attending Make Up For Ever in Paris.
Her website is a makeup paradise. She has tutorials, products,on-trend makeup how-tos and etc. I will most definitely begin to use Makeup Geek as a resource to makeup secrets to share with you guys! Their looks start from simple and classy to bold and outgoing. Each eye makeup has some type of tutorial to allow you to apply the exact eye makeup you love! There's at least one makeup look for every season and plenty more are coming in!
For example below there are two insanely well put together eye looks! The first one is a spring bold look that has a soft touch to it! The artist simply applied a concealer and began with a light brown only in the crease. She then slowly began to blend a chocolate brown into the crease to add definition. One it was blended together, she obtained more concealer onto her lid carefully shaping out the eyelid. As time progressed, she then packed on a light pink to make the look become soft. Lastly she applied sharped wing eyeliner and falsies to complete the overall look! This is a great eye piece for the spring season we are in!
The second look is more on the edgy side. This isn't any ordinary look you would wear on a casual day, but if you do.. you go girl! This look falls into the category of advanced makeup artist. For those who would want to create this look I will have the link on the picture. It's quite an eye catching look because of the gold/bronze like view. Overall, it's quite the fascinating rare look!
