Let's Talk About : Premio Lo Nuestro

Last week on Style's Inn we talked about BAFTA (British Academy Awards). We spoke about Emma Stone and other female actresses. Now we are moving onto Latino Awards, Premio Lo Nuestro. Premio Lo Nuestro is an annual award show that recognizes Latino artists & actors/actresses through awards and allowing them to perform. As any award show, there was a red carpet. This year the dresses were super bold or classic. Some were frowned upon while others were admired.Some of these wonderful dresses were worn by Alejandra Espinoza, Lucero, Chiquinquirá Delgado, and etc. Univision held an online survey for th public to vote who had the top dresses or suits. This year 13 dresses were chosen to be the 'best' dresses. Out of all these marvelous looks, there are 4 trends found within each dress.These trends are not just found on this red carpet. These are trends of this fashion season, seen on the runway or modern day outfits.

1. Red, Red, Red!

There was a fairly popular color occurring on the red carpet. Hm, I believe it was, red! As you are able to see the pictures from Univision.com capture the bright vivid reds of the runway. These four dresses have different designs but overall were voted upon their color. Even though they also each are a different shade of red, they all are eye-catching dresses that make you want to wear them.

2. Dress Choker Style

Chokers

These 3 dresses fall into the classic category when it's between bold or classic. However, these dress have a very popular trend occurring this year. Th e dresses withhold the style of dress chokers or turtleneck dresses.Chokers were a popular trend during the 70s, died out towards the 2000s. However, they are making a comeback through the runway & red carpet.

3. Long Flow Sleeves

My personal favorite, Bohemian style! These dresses both have a similar structure, but that is what makes it popular. The long open sleeves allow it to flow and make the arms look longer than they are. In a way the dress gives off a big ball gown that flows. It's simple but chic.

4. Dazzling Maxi Dress

Last but not least, a dazzling masterpiece! And what a coincidence worn by Miss Latinas. The gems are designed to give off an abstract artwork piece. This dress definitely catches one's eye by the sleek, bold style. The dress overall is an artwork piece.
