The year 2017 is here! And passing by very quickly. Winter break is coming to end, and so are your fall clothes. Each day it gets colder, the nights are becoming freezing. It's actually raining for an entire day! All if these changes in our weather are quite amazing! However, if you live in southern California, you know you are definitely not prepared for these types of weather patterns! Your closet is still made up of the summer, spring clothes, and possibly a couple of long sleeves.
I've been looking at different famous websites (Vogue & Elle) to find perfect affordable winter pieces for 2017! So we are prepared and not stand out in the cold trying to look amazing in your long sleeve paired with a kimono.
T-shirt Dress
We are very accustomed to wearing dresses and not worrying about getting frozen. When you enter a store the dresses that have spaghetti straps tend to be less pricey than those that are long sleeve. well here is a type of way to style your dress and not end up freezing all night or day.
That is a white shirt under your loose dress! At first, you will think this is quite the out of the box idea. But this actually gives off a very classy look. Below you can see two different types of basic tops. The typical basic white tee which gives off a bohemian vibe and the turtle neck under a maxi dress which gives off the classy look with tight at the top, flow towards bottom.

Drop down and give me 20! Last fall the military short jackets were very popular. They soon became a must have in your closet, however this winter break they are back in different form. The military jacket has come back, just a bit longer than we saw last time. This fashion statement is actually my favorite. According to Vogue & Elle, it also was a famous piece on the runways! Below are two styles very alike, they both are navy colored and fitted. They allow you to be warmed look ready for winter.

Overall these two fashion statement will definitely keep you stylish and warm! Since both statement pieces are basic, you can wear these two pieces with 90% of your outfits! Or even with each other! 2017 is a chance f0r new trends to come by! Let's start them off.
